Health Requirements for the 16-17 School Year

 6th grade

•  Physical examination (may be completed within last 12 months)

7th grade

• Dental examination (may be completed within last 12 months)
• Immunizations: Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria, acellular pertussis) AND meningitis vaccine
• PIAA physical for sports

8th grade

• PIAA physical for sports

New students to the State of Pennsylvania, regardless of grade.

• Physical examination AND Dental examination

7th Grade Immunizations -- for August!

Does your rising 7th grader have the required immunizations (Tdap and meningitis) to start school in August?  If not, you may want to utilize the services of our local health department.

Please see the attached link to find days and times that immunizations can be administered by nurses at the Chester County Health Department.

School Dentist and Doctor Visits

The school district dentist, Dr. Merle Saldivar, will be at the middle school on April 25th, performing dental examinations.  The school district physician assistant, Lindsey Calio PA, will be at the middle school on April 28th, performing physical examinations.  If your student still needs the required State examination, please consider utilizing these services.  There is no charge for these exams.  Just call the nurse's office with your request.
